  1. While algal oil is better than fish oil for several reasons that still doesn’t mean it’s necessary at all. There’s no evidence that vegans need to worry about this. There is literally none. It’s so ironic that I should see this video after talking to Dr Tim Radak just like 5 minutes ago on the phone who has a very elaborate talk on omega-3s on my channel that’s very comprehensive and packed with science. It’s many years old but the conclusions are still the same and he maintains updating a blog to support the conclusions that’s referenced under the video. Just eat legumes, greens, greens, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices and a variety of each. And you’ll likely be fine. It’s one of those things where you probably should consult you with your doctor if you really think you need to be supplementing it but it’s likely one of those things where your doctor may not even know what they’re talking about lol. I’ve even had my omega-3 test done by two different tests on the same day just out of curiosity. I’m literally considered low and still don’t care because I know there’s no evidence that it’s necessary as it’s not been shown to do anything for heart health advantageous and at best might do something for brain health if you’re doing a lot to damage your brain. But if you’re otherwise overall healthy and not on a highly inflammatory diet and keeping your homocysteine levels down and taking a B12 supplement I don’t know why you would take an omega-3 at this point. But never mind me I’m just a YouTuber/ commenter /layperson. But I have dug deep into Dr Fuhrman’s brain on this, come through as much science as I could, listen to neuroscientists like the Sherzai, a plethora of other doctors ranging from fatty acid researchers to molecular scientists and so on as well as digging into the research the best I can and even toying with chat gpt LOL. I’ve even been in the middle of the controversy between Dr Klaper, Dr Goldhamer, Dr Frank Sabatino, etc. and still it just don’t add up man. This whole reductionist approach just seems way too mechanistic sketchy. Who knows though maybe I’ll act with us one day and break the bank making a lifetime commitment moving forward to this Hit or Miss highly theoretical extrapolating from highly inflamed omnivore-based studies just because of the hype…
