  1. I have redness around my cheeks and nostrils, for different reasons. The cheeks, I’m not entirely sure what’s going on, it could be a mild form of rosacea and/or just flushing, because it does get worse when I’m hot, cold or emotional, but the skin there does not feel or look irritated, and I can’t see any veins on it either. Also my skin undertone is very yellow, so I doubt it’s related to that either. I’m not very concerned with this redness though, as it does actually look quite nice like a natural blush. Especially with how it goes up towards my temples as well, it has a surprisingly flattering shape to it.

However, the redness around my nostrils does bother me. This is caused by me having to blow my nose multiple times a day, every day, so long term irritation. This skin has thickened by now, and is no longer flaking or otherwise strongly irritated since I started exfoliating it regularly and moisturizing it twice a day. But problem is I can’t cover it with makeup because I will literally just wipe it off again not even 10 min later, because that’s just how runny my nose always is (I have some form of non-allergic rhinitis, docs have been unhelpful.) It’s kinda difficult to keep any kinda skincare creams on this area throughout the day as well, although that is certainly easier to re-apply than makeup.

Everyone always thinks I have a cold, it’s very annoying, I hate looking sick all the time. So I was hoping I could find some way of reducing the redness specifically around my nose. I’ll try some of the tips you listed here, that sounded like they might apply to my situation.
